The Dutch renewable energy industry holds immense potential. On the one hand, the ISDE program for heat pumps offers subsidies of up to 5.100 Euro. On the other hand, customers can benefit from the intelligent software platform Heartbeat, especially after the phase out of net metering in the Netherlands. In 2022, the Netherlands reached more than 2 Million residential installations, which equals to 25% of houses in the country.
1KOMMA5° is now active in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Denmark, Netherlands and Australia. Together with the new Dutch partner, the start-up plans to further expand to also serve European commercial and multi portfolio real estate owners in becoming less dependent on fossil energy.

The company also offers customers a one-stop-shop for the purchase and installation of individual and intelligent energy system solutions. To accelerate international growth the cleantech startup acquires leading companies in the electrical sector with a particular focus on photovoltaic systems, charging infrastructure and heat pumps, and in return offers the entrepreneurs the use of its own software solutions, centralized services, bundled purchasing, growth capital and a reverse shareholding in 1KOMMA5° Holding. The aim is to develop a Europe-wide, market-leading hard- and software platform, that is capable of converting 500,000 buildings per year to climate-neutral power generation, heat and mobility.
